The Hot Spring County Museum Commission will host a celebration for the HSC Museum’s 40th Anniversary on Sunday,
May 15 from 2pm to 4pm.
The HSCMuseum Commission was established by the HSC Quorum Court in 1978 and was charged with “establishing, providing and maintaining a county museum” for the preservation of history for the present and for the future and in loving memory and with sincere appreciation of those from the past. The HSC Museum commission and staff continue to fulfill this mission as promised on opening day, September 13, 1981.
We invite the community to come join our celebration! Enjoy the refreshments, walk-through tours of the 1892 Boyle House, the 1868 Gibbs Cabin and the 1876 Hughes Cabin and enjoy the live bluegrass/country music of the “Rough and Ready” band, who will be “Pickin on the Front Porch.”
